The Yocum Institute for Arts Education has operated a preschool and kindergarten program for over 75 years. Our goal is to focus on the individual child, enabling him or her to increase their self-image, develop selfreliance and confidence, to foster the desire to question, and learn through creating, concept building, language development, problem solving, concentrating, socializing, perceiving, fostering independence, and emotional growth.

Registration & Billing
Registrations are being accepted for the 2023-2024 school year. Several classes are full. To inquire about openings for your child’s age group, contact Elsa Mierzejewski, 610-376-1576 x202 or preschool@yocuminstitute.org.

All families interested in registering for Preschool (both new and returning) must complete the PRE-REGISTRATION FORM and submit a non-refundable $50 registration fee to hold an available spot. You may only receive a refund if there isn’t a space and you do not want to be on the waiting list. If registered for either Preschool or Kindergarten, and registering for Discovery, registration fee for Discovery will not be charged. Only 1 is required per student. **PRE-REGISTRATION FORMS WILL NOT BE PROCESSED WITHOUT A PARENT LISTING THE CLASS BEING REQUESTED IN THE “ANYTHING ELSE WE NEED TO KNOW” SECTION DURING THE PRE-REGISTRATION PROCESS

All Pre-Registration Forms are reviewed and confirmed by the Preschool Director. If there is a space in the class being requested, the family will be notified by the Preschool Director in order to complete the registration process.
If there is no space in the class being requested, a family can remain on the waitlist in which case the registration fee will not be returned. If they opt not to remain on the waitlist, the fee will be returned in full.

2023 Preschool Withdraw Request Form
IMPORTANT, Please complete a separate form for each child. A portion of the Registration fee is refundable. All other refunds are determined by the Director and are based on the date of withdrawal and the space being held for your child.
